thredbo has the lift access. about 3 hours away. stromlo has car access to the top. loads of trails with nearly every type of trail available. Canberra has one of the best, if not the best verity of trails in Australia, plus its close to everything.

Ridding scene is pretty great, with lots of places to ride for all different forms. There are lots of trails to ride.
Stromlo is 20 mins from the city centre.
We don't really have any dangerous animals, unless you consider kangaroo's scary {lol}.
The most dangerous ting we would have is probably a snake or spider, but they won;t bother you when you on a bike, i suppose there could be a few wild dogs, but they never show up unless you in the middle of no where and dingo's and crocs are in the far north.

I saw the post you sent to kane asking about ridding in australian city's, and i would say that Canberra has one of the better set ups. good club and everyone is friendly and we have everything we need to ride.
